The Salty Heifer was named after this little salty girl of ours. She has such a lovable face, but she can definitely be a bit salty at times.
Meet the Owner & Creator
My name is Summer & I am the sole creator at The Salty Heifer. I'm the wife of a fire fighter, the mom/step mom to 7 boys, and a new grandma to one special grandson.
My husband & I have a little ranchette in western Oregon where we have a small Angus herd, horses, a flock of chickens, & a few dogs.
In our spare time, my husband & I are actively involved with our boys' sports pretty much year round, but we also get the chance to enjoy some time to compete on our horses in 2 & 3 man sorting.
Three years ago, I began making cowhide & leather items in our dining room, but eventually we transformed a small shed on our property into what is now The Salty Heifer Shedquarters. This is where I currently create all the original items for you, my customers. I am truly thankful for every purchase & I look forward to creating that one of a kind piece just for you!
